At Carveth Village, our residents find more than a place to live, they find a second family! Our beautiful community is nestled in picturesque Middleville, Michigan, just south of Grand Rapids, Michigan. We offer independent living, assisted living, and respite services. When you walk onto our campus, it feels more like home. Not only does Carveth feel like home, but we’re also pet-friendly, we have a wide range of activities, our meals are all homemade, and the staff will certainly provide a warm welcome! Sounds too good to be true? Well stop by anytime and see for yourself!
Our community offers a variety of services. These services include 24/7 onsite staffing, WIFI, cable TV, and private landline numbers for each room. For both independent and assisted living, we offer three meals daily, all of which are made from scratch. The activity calendar is always bustling with onsite activities as well as offsite adventures.
The independent apartments are beautifully designed with fully equipped kitchens, independent HVAC systems, and a washer/dryer set. In this single-story complex, the apartments have private patios, separate parking, and a separate dining room with a fireplace and coffee center which is a wonderful place to entertain friends and families. Need a little help cleaning? Not a problem, Housekeeping services can be purchased. The apartments also come with a call light for those unexpected emergencies.
Carveth Village’s assisted living units have companion suites for couples and private rooms or semi-private rooms for singles. All rooms have the option to be furnished with a bed and nightstand. Carveth’s caring and professional staff provides help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and medication management. Each resident is assessed, and care plans are developed to determine the level of assistance needed. Housekeeping and laundry are also included in the monthly rent.
We had no intention of ever moving my mother-in-law to any assisted living facility, ever. However, she didn't want to "burden" us by living with us so this was our only solution. It was very hard for us to move her to Carveth Village but since she has been here, we have been more than impressed with the care and compassion that she has received from the AMAZING staff here. We continually see that the staff takes care of her needs and wants, and they can be demanding at times! We can't say enough about every single staff member that tends to her needs and knows her by name. I would recommend Carveth Village to anyone that needs this type of care!!!

My Mom has been a resident at Carveth Village for 3.5 years. She of course like most did not want to move, but her declining condition made it very necessary. The Administration changed during her stay and we are all very happy with their care for each resident. All staff is friendly, knowledgeable and works every single day to make everyone feel at home!

My mom was a resident at Carveth during the last three months of her life. She was in hospice with a terminal brain tumor. The staff at Carveth took such good care of my mom. They were incredibly kind towards her, and I recently learned several staff members sat with her during the night as she was scared to be alone. The fact that such loving staff was there with my mom during her final weeks brought me so much comfort. After her passing on April 4, the staff wrote a card dedicated to her memory sharing their love and memories with her. I cannot thank or recommend this place enough.

I love the small community feel of Carveth. Everybody knows my in-laws names and their habits. I like that when I have had a question, I always get an answer. I love how much input we receive on my in-laws care and suggestions for how we can provide something more for them. I have been trying since last August to get a billing error corrected with the pharmacy and Carveth has gone above and beyond to help me with that. I trust their ethics and their word when they tell me something. I am grateful for such a caring place in our small town.
